Non-Formal Education - Sarai Rohilla

BOSCO Delhi is providing Non-Formal Education (NFE) to community and slum children of Sarai Rohila center, which is situated about 4 km from Old Delhi Railway Junction in India. These children are mostly abused and trafficked. The situation is such, that these children are living in a very pathetic condition of extremely unhygienic environment. These children are into drugs and alcohol which is very much affecting in to their health conditions.  Our main aim is to provide them basic awareness on quality of life through various educational activities, like tuitions to provide primary education to enroll in the school, motivational session on self-love, self-esteem, good health and hygienic etc. We are reaching out to people from slums and communities through different group activities like Skits, Medical camps, Awareness programs on Child Rights, and many sport activities.  It is a very challenging environment for us to work with these children, however, we are trying our best to provide our love and care to these children to have better life.
