Mobile Medical Care

Mobile Medical Care

BOSCO Delhi has initiated a project in the Healthcare sector that provides medical facilities on the go. The Mobile Medical Care Project is a part of the Medical Care for the Street and Vulnerable Children community development project managed by the Salesians in the Bosco Delhi province in collaboration with the sponsors of Don Bosco Mondo, Germany. The agenda of this project is to provide Mobile Medical Care to the oppressed and the underprivileged kids, women and youth in various slums of New Delhi, India. Through this project we hope to lend a helping hand to kids living in slums or the ones living a dreadful life on the streets. We provide them with medical assistance and counseling which in turn would help them lead a decent life where they can grow in their surrounding environment with a lot more confidence and safety. The Medical Team consists of a Team Coordinator, a Doctor, a Medical Assistance (Nurse) and a Driver. These 4 wheels on the Van as we may call them; drive the spirit of our aim to help eradicate health issues for the people in need.  The Team follows a specific schedule for each day which is well thought and planned, keeping the fact in mind that the schedule may vary as per the availability of the children or change in contact point which is discussed by the coordinators and planned beforehand. The Medical team understands the importance of working together towards a better future and henceforth, leaves no stone unturned in their possible capabilities to serve the best they can.
