In 2002, BOSCO began Non-formal Education through coaching centers to provide quality education and for those who either had never been to school or who had  dropped out of main stream educational institutions . These act as schools that prepare these drop-out students for entrance to mainstream schools.

 
After the school hours, remedial classes for 900 poor children are being organized at different places at Kauli, Jasola, Najafgrah, Lucknow, Ranchi and Jokhbala.  The children perform well in their studies. Our study of these areas revealed that 75% children do not get time to complete their studies at home and therefore, these remedial classes are helping them in their studies. All the subjects are taught through these remedial classes. Moreover, very poor students are also provided with some study materials such as books, pencils, rubbers, etc. and once in a year with some clothes. Besides this, Bosco also provides midday meals to these children who come for these classes.
