Health Awareness Session on Prevention of Com...

The BOSCO Health Team organized an awareness session at Khajuri Khas for the Rohingya community aiming to spread awareness on the prevention of common winter illness. This session took place on 13/11/2018. A total of 21 people were a part of this session, comprising of 20 females and 1 male. Considering the day by day worsening health and hygienic conditions of Khajuri Khas, the awareness session was conducted here. The session targeted on creating awareness on common winter illness. It emphasized on making the refugee and asylum seekers aware about the symptoms and ways, in which the prevention and treatment of diseases could be taken care of properly.

It was an interactive session as the participants got to express their knowledge and views on this topic. The participants were very well briefed by the BOSCO Health Team on the due precautionary measures to be undertaken, in order to lead a disease free life ahead. The session inculcated a fruitful outcome as the participants appeared more confident and aware by the end of the session.
