WORLD AIDS DAY CELEBRATION- MALVIYA..

World AIDS Day celebration was celebrated on 30th November 2018 at the Malviya Nagar Centre to highlight the importance of World Aids Awareness Day. World aids day takes place on the 1st December of every year. It’s an opportunity for people around the world to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV and to commemorate those who have died from aids related illness. 100 people (42 male and 58 female) attended the Rally that was organized by Bosco- Malviya Nagar.

The Rally served around the locality as a means to disseminate the vital information to both the refugee and Indian communities living around the area. Students and the staffs took active part in the preparation of this event. We designed banner, posters, slogan, signature campaign and short skit that highlight the purpose of the rally and make it a success.

For the sensitization the participants handed-out Red Awareness Ribbons with an important piece of information to the public. The participants gathered at a local park and performed a Skit in the vicinity which highlighted the different ways showcasing the spread of the disease or how exactly can an individual contract it. The rally came to a full circle after it returned to a local Mandir at noon and all the participants were thanked and given refreshments as a token of thanks, for the effort and energy that they put in throughout the day to make the rally a success.
