Organic Kitchen Garden Project

If one wants to stay safe from consuming chemicals in the food we consume, ensure freshness, save money, bust stress and experience good health; an organic kitchen garden may be the answer. BOSCO Delhi’s Organic Kitchen Garden Project too, seeks to help in doing so.

With the ongoing Project, 2 of BOSCO Delhi’s staff members conducted a 2 day workshop, in order to spread awareness and impart knowledge on the importance of Organic Kitchen Gardening. This was followed by distribution of seeds to around 1500 women across 8 centers of the Chotanagpur area of Jharkhand. The 8 centres namely, Jumaikela, Jhokhbala, Gumla, Bichna, Kereng, Kolebera, Runrukcha and Gharigaon witnessed a good amount of response as well, since, most of the women are from the agriculture setup; it was easy to make them understand the importance and value of an Organic Kitchen Garden.
