Awareness Session conducted at Budella Center for Bridge and Tuition students on the topic , "Prevention of Stomach (Gastrointestinal ) Infections during Monsoon"

An Awareness Session was conducted at Budella Center for Bridge and Tuition students. The topic was " Prevention of Stomach (Gastrointestinal ) Infections during Monsoon".

This initiative was taken by BOSCO medical team to educate the children about the gastrointestinal infections like Diarrhea, Dysentery, Typhoid, Cholera , Gastroenteritis , Worms Infestation and Hepatitis prevalent during the Monsoon due to contamination of drinking water.

The children were explained in very simple language about the diseases and methods of prevention like boiling water, personal hygiene, hand washing, trimming nails, preparing ORS at home, avoiding cut fruits and foodstuffs sold in the open.The children learned important information from the session and requested for more such sessions in future.
