The Reading Club Initiation

The Reading Club Initiation

BOSCO Vikaspuri initiated the Reading Club for the young minds of Bridge and Tuition.

The club has a diverse group of children from Afghan, Rohingya and Chin communities. It was an idea that was born out of the needs of some voracious reader students who loved reading books and actively participated in library sessions. It is a voluntary club by the students, any student from bridge and tuition classes between the age of 7 and 14 can become a member. At the time of admission, a library card is given to members. Children are allowed to select the books on their own and the book is issued for the period of seven days. Along with reading session, story telling competition, discussion, movie screening, are also organised as part of the reading club.

The first reading session under the reading club was organised on 30/09/2019 from 2.45pm to 4pm. Tuition students from Rohingya and Chin communities attended the session.
