Counselling Services for the YAR

 Counselling for the young at risk is one of the components of the activities BOSCO Delhi. Through these services we reach out all the children who come in contact with our services at various points, refugee children, children who live in slums, school dropouts etc... In Don Bosco System, we follow unique methods to provide counselling to these children who are at risk. We nurture our children through various techniques like accompaniment, animator’s presence, word in the ear, positive stroke, positive environment, sports and music, etc. These techniques provide positive response during the counselling process. BOSCO has professional counsellors and psychologists as part of our programmes in our contact centers. Lot of importance is given to group counselling especially in the cases of street children apart from the individual the counselling. Our counselors support and reach out to an average of 2400 children annually.
