Anand Vihar Railway Station – Childline Services

Railway CHILDLINE is a joint initiative of MWCD and Railways. BOSCO Delhi through Ashalayam runs a Railway CHILDLINE at Anand Vihar railway station. It reaches out to YAR children who come in contact with us at the railway station. Anand Vihar railway station in Delhi sees hundreds of runaway children, and children living on the platforms. The largest number of homeless children, pavement dwellers, street and working children, child substance abuses and children baggers left on their own and reside in urban areas like Delhi. These children suffer extreme deprivation compounded by lack of shelter across the basic services of survive. 

We reach out to children whoever comes in contact with us, we provide the basic care and protection as per the need of the child. We provide shelter facilities to these children and they are restored as per the CWC rules. We have organized health camps, awareness programs, present various social issues through skits etc. In the year of 2017 and 2018, we have registered 715 children out which 101 children restored and 307 members were given shelter facilities.
